Without mayonnaise and processed cheese: tasty cauliflower and lemon spread
Spreads are an ideal appetizer that goes well with vegetables, croutons, and even chips. They can be prepared in different ways and from different products, such as fish, cheese, vegetables, chickpeas, meat, seafood, and herring. You can make them with sour cream, mayonnaise, and yogurt. Garlic, onions, paprika, chili, anchovies, capers, flavored salt, and oils will add spice.
Culinary expert Anna (grennysmith) shared a recipe for a delicious cauliflower spread with feta cheese and lemon juice on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- cauliflower - 1 pc.
- olive oil - 4 tbsp
- feta cheese - 100 g
- Greek yogurt - 100 g
- garlic - 1 clove.
- juice of 1/4 lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 C.
2. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet.
3. Wash the cauliflower, divide it into florets, add the oil, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper, mix and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes until the cauliflower is golden brown.
