You can make not only compotes and jam from healthy berries, but also a flavorful, thick jelly. To do this, you just need to grind the berries through a sieve and boil the mass.

The cook shared a recipe for canned berry jelly on Instagram, which is very quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of berries
  • 800 g of sugar

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the berries well, put them in a saucepan (along with the twigs, no need to cut anything off) and put them on the fire. When heated, the berries will give juice and become soft. The mass only needs to be heated! Do not boil or cook! As soon as they become soft and you see the juice, it's ready.

2. Put the berries in a sieve and mash.

3. Pour the mashed potatoes back into the saucepan, add sugar, put on the fire and bring to a boil. There is no need to cook! As soon as it boils, it's ready!

4. Immediately pour into sterile jars and seal.
