With honey and feta: delicious sweet pepper appetizer in 15 minutes
Sweet peppers can be the basis for making delicious salads and even sauces, appetizers, and adjika. They can also be simply baked and served with delicious sauces.
A cook shared a recipe for delicious baked peppers with feta, honey, and garlic sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- bell peppers - 20 pcs. (large ones, about 10 pcs.)
- oil - 30 g + for baking
Sauce:
- feta - 100 g
- yogurt or cream without additives - 50 g
- honey - 40 g
- garlic - 1 small clove
- thyme - a pinch
- chili pepper flakes
- cilantro for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Bake the peppers until they are soft (about 15 minutes) but keep their shape.
2. Put them in a bowl hot and cover with cling film. Make a few holes and leave them to cool. This will help you remove the pepper seeds better.
3. For the feta mousse, combine feta, yogurt, honey, garlic, thyme and 30 g of oil and blend.
Remove the seeds, put them on a plate, sprinkle with cilantro and chili flakes! Serve with the sauce!
