With eggs and milk: delicious desserts without baking
It's no secret that everything ingenious is simple. The same is true in cooking: all gourmet dishes are prepared in the simplest way and with the most affordable ingredients. For example, you can always find milk and eggs in the fridge, so why not make a delicious dessert with them?
The FoodOboz editorial team will share two recipes for perfect desserts based on milk and eggs.
Milk and cream dessert
Ingredients:
- Milk - 300 ml.
- Egg yolks - 3 pcs.
- Vanilla - to taste
- Sugar - 70 g
- Sour cream - 350 g
- Gelatin - 20 g
Method of preparation:
- Pour gelatin with a little milk and leave to swell.
- Mix the egg yolks with sugar in a saucepan. Pour in the rest of the milk and stir. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Remove the mass from the heat. Add gelatin. Let it cool down.
- Mix the milk mass with sour cream. Mix thoroughly, pour into a mold, and put it in the refrigerator to harden.
Fried milk
Ingredients:
- Eggs - 6 pcs.
- Flour (corn and wheat) - 60 g each
- Vanilla - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 120 g
- Powdered sugar - 100 g
- Fresh milk - 0.5 liters
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
- Heat the milk in a saucepan.
- Grind eggs with vanilla and sugar. Add both types of flour and mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into the boiling milk. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. The result should be a thick cream. However, if you cannot achieve the desired consistency, you can add a little more cornmeal.
- Strain the cream through a sieve, place it in a mold, and refrigerate to thicken.
- Cut the cream into pieces. Roll each piece in flour and egg breading, then fry on both sides.
