Why you should eat bell peppers and how to cook them: an expert answers

The fall season is a great opportunity to add such a healthy vegetable as bell peppers to your diet. You can cook it in completely different ways – it all depends on your taste preferences. This product will be an excellent source of nutrients in times of vitamin deficiency.

Doctor Galuna Pokhmyrska shared the beneficial properties of bell peppers on her Instagram page.

Bell pepper contains:

  • substances that can reduce the risk of malignant tumors;
  • vitamin A: healthy skin, beautiful hair, nutrition for the eyes - all this is the benefit of this substance;
  • B vitamins - maintaining normal conditions for liver function;
  • vitamin C: it contains twice as much as citrus fruits.

The expert notes that bell peppers are a great addition to any dish: salad, side dish, or meat - they go with absolutely everything.

Ingredients:

  • bell peppers - 5 pcs.
  • chicken fillet - 3 pcs.
  • onion - 2 pcs.
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs.
  • mozzarella cheese - 50 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp.
  • dill
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Method of preparation:

  1. Cut the peppers in half, and peel.
  2. For the filling, cut onions, tomatoes, and fillets into small cubes.
  3. Grate the cheese.
  4. Add chopped herbs, egg, and sour cream.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and mix.
  6. Put the peppers in the mold, and add a little salt.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
