The expert noted that mushrooms would be an ideal choice for vegetarians, as they are a great alternative to meat. She also added that mushrooms can even be eaten at night.
The nutritionist noted that mushrooms are a great product for those on a diet.
Marie Ruggles, MS, PhD, CN, CDE, said that especially in the fall, mushrooms can boost the immune system.
