Recipe for buckwheat Japanese tea
Ingredients:
- ordinary buckwheat groats
- lemon, lime, or orange zest
Method of preparation:
1. Pour enough buckwheat into a small frying pan to cover the bottom in one layer, heat over medium heat.
2. Dry the cereal for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time. The buckwheat will darken and the grains will burst. The smell is pleasant but very intense, so it is better to turn on the hood. Buckwheat is also fried to make the porridge crumbly. But for tea, you need to do it a little longer.
3. The preparation process is complete. Pour the cereal into a sieve to shake out small pieces of husk.
4. Pour 2 full teaspoons of buckwheat into a tea sieve and pour boiling water over it. Cover the cup and leave for 5 minutes.
5. For flavor, you can add a slice of lime, lemon, or orange zest.
