Why cook cutlets in parchment: a familiar dish in a new way
Perfectly cooked cutlets are those with golden brown crust and juicy center. People who are on a diet do not usually cook this dish as the calorie content is to blame.
However, there is an alternative - cutlets in parchment. Yes, the parchment absorbs excess oil and fat, while the cutlets remain juicy and quite tender. And most importantly, they are not dry.
Food blogger Khrystyna Petrash shared her life hack and recipe for cutlets in parchment on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 400 g
- onion - 1/2 pcs
- eggs - 1 pc
- white bread soaked in milk - 1 piece
- breadcrumbs - 1 tbsp
- mozzarella/sulguni
- salt, pepper, spices
Method of preparation:
1. Chop the onion and mix with the minced meat.
2. Add the egg, bread, breadcrumbs and spices. Mix well.
3. Cut the cheese into cubes.
4. Form patties with wet hands, wrapping a cube of cheese inside.
5. Put the cutlets on parchment and fry them in a pan on both sides.
