Mayonnaise is a very popular salad dressing that is best made at home from natural products. To make mayonnaise less thick, you can add water instead of milk or yogurt.
Culinary expert Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi shared a recipe for delicious homemade mayonnaise on Instagram, which takes only 5 minutes to prepare.
Ingredients:
- yolks – 2 pcs
- odorless vegetable oil – 300-400 g
- mustard – 1 tbsp
- sugar – 1 tsp
- water, yogurt, or sour cream – 50 ml
- juice of 1/3 lemon
- salt – to taste
- black pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Put the egg yolks, salt, sugar, mustard, and pepper in a bowl and beat well into a foam.
2. Add oil, lemon juice, mix, and pour in water, but you can also use milk, low-fat yogurt, or sour cream. It all depends on how thick you want the mayonnaise to be.
3. Mix the mayonnaise well and add salt or sugar to taste.
