Why add lemon juice and powdered sugar to chicken: tips and a recipe
Chicken fillet is a healthy, budget-friendly, easy-to-prepare product that can be eaten by everyone, especially those on a diet. It can be deliciously baked, boiled, and made into cutlets and salads.
Cook Anastasia Solopiy shared a recipe on Instagram for juicy, tasty, and tender chicken fillet with lemon zest, lemon juice, and olive oil.
Lemon juice will make the meat soft, and powdered sugar will make the dish taste very original!
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet – 2 pcs.
- lemon – 1/2 pc.
- olive oil – 1 tbsp.
- powdered sugar – 1 tbsp.
- salt – 1/2 tsp.
- thyme or rosemary – a few sprigs
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the zest from the lemon, grate on a fine grater, and squeeze the juice.
2. Add powdered sugar, salt, oil, and mix thoroughly.
3. Put the fillets on a baking sheet, pour the marinade over them, and leave for 30 minutes.
4. You can add a few sprigs of thyme or rosemary.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 200°C.
