Why add corn grits to minced meat: recipe and advice
Cutlets are one of the simplest and most delicious dishes for lunch and even for a festive table. They can be made from different meats and even without them, replacing them with vegetables, legumes, cereals, and offal.
Cook Roksolana (roksolana.harasymiv) shared a recipe for delicious turkey meat cutlets with corn grits, vegetables, and no eggs on Instagram.
Tip: Instead of eggs, you can add cereals, such as corn, to the minced meatballs. They will prevent the cutlets from falling apart and help them keep their shape.
Ingredients:
- turkey meat – 200 g
- milk – 100 ml
- zucchini – 1/2 pc
- carrots – 1/2 pc.
- broccoli – 3-4 inflorescences
- corn porridge–- 2-3 tbsp.
- Suneli hops, dried garlic, pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the carrots and zucchini on a fine grater, finely chop the broccoli.
2. Blend the meat in a blender, add the vegetables, milk, cereals, seasonings, and blend again.
3. Form the patties with wet hands, place them on a baking sheet with parchment, and bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 175-180 degrees.
