Whole chicken in coconut flakes: secrets of crispy crust and tender meat

Chef Olena Yermolenko shared her proven recipe for chicken in coconut flakes on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken - 1 pc
- coconut flakes - 2 packs
- eggs - 1 pc
- salt, pepper
For the marinade:
- soy sauce - 2 tbsp.
- honey - 1 tbsp
- ketchup - 2 tbsp
- ginger
- juice of 1/2 lemon
Method of preparation:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
2. Rub the chicken with it, both inside and out. Leave for 2 hours.
3. Beat the egg and coat the chicken completely.
4. Sprinkle with coconut flakes.
5. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour.
