Earlier, nutritionist Alina Sapiha told FoodOboz about who shouldn't eat cheese. According to the expert, there is a certain category of people who can be harmed by cottage cheese. In particular, this applies to those with lactose intolerance and skin problems. Such people should eat cottage cheese in limited quantities, or even better, remove the product from their diet altogether.

It is extremely important to be careful and know your limits. Otherwise, you risk symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, and stomach upset.

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese - 300 g
  • Eggs - 50 g
  • Flour - 20 g
  • Semolina - 30 g
  • Sugar - 20 g
  • Salt

Method of preparation:

1. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve.

2. Add the egg, flour and salt. Mix well.

3. Put a pot of water on the stove. Add sugar.

4. Form cottage cheese into balls and roll them in semolina.

5. Put the balls in boiling water. When they float to the top, let them boil for another 1 minute.

6. Serve the dish with sour cream or Greek yogurt and berries.

Cheesecakes in the oven

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese - 400 g
  • Eggs - 50 g
  • Milk - 120 ml
  • Semolina - 40 g
  • Sugar - 30 g
  • Salt - 1 g
  • Coconut flakes

Method of preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Grate the cottage cheese through a sieve.

3. Mix milk, semolina, sugar and salt. Bring to a thickening over low heat.

4. Add to the cottage cheese and mix well.

5. Add the egg.

6. Fry the coconut in the oven at 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes.

7. Form cheesecakes and roll in coconut flakes.

8. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Cheesecakes

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese - 500 g
  • Eggs - 50 g
  • Yolk - 40 g
  • Sugar - 20 g
  • Flour - 50 g + 100 g (for breading)
  • Salt

Method of preparation:

1. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve.

2. Add sugar, flour, egg, yolk and salt.

3. Sprinkle the work surface with flour.

4. Form the curd into balls, flatten them, and roll in flour.

5. Fry the cheesecakes on a preheated frying pan on both sides.

6. Put the finished cheesecakes on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.

Cottage cheese donuts

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese - 400 g
  • Flour - 60 g
  • Eggs - 50 g
  • Sugar - 25 g
  • Vanilla sugar
  • Salt.

For the filling:

  • Cherries - 150 g
  • Corn starch - 8 g

Method of preparation:

1. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve.

2. Add the egg and mix.

3. Add salt, sugar and vanilla sugar.

4. To prepare the filling, mix the cherries and starch. Put on low heat and bring to a boil.

5. Form the dough into a ball, make a depression in it, and put the filling.

6. Fry the donuts in a large amount of oil.

7. Put the finished donuts on a paper towel to get rid of excess fat.

Royal cheesecake

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • Flour - 200 g
  • Sugar - 60 g
  • Butter - 100 g
  • Baking powder - 5 g
  • Salt
  • Orange or lemon zest
  • Cinnamon or vanilla

For the filling:

  • Cottage cheese - 600 g
  • Corn starch - 30 g
  • Eggs - 150 g
  • Cream - 100 ml
  • Sugar - 80 g
  • Raspberries - 100 g
  • Currants - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the cold butter.

2. Mix it with the flour.

3. Add grated zest, sugar, baking powder and salt.

4. Mix the cottage cheese, sugar and cream.

5. Add the eggs and mix the mixture until smooth. You can also use a blender.

6. Add the starch.

7. Put most of the butter crumbs into the baking dish.

8. Put half of the filling.

9. Put the second part of the crumbs and the rest of the filling.

10. Top the cake with berries.

11. Sprinkle with the rest of the crumbs.

12. Bake at 170 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
