What to use to make a fluffy pie: Liliia Tsvit shares her secrets

The secret to any successful baking is the right base for the dough. For pies, milk is often used, as well as soda or plain water. But to make the product really tender, fluffy, and delicious, you should use another ingredient.

The idea for the pie was published on Liliia Tsvit's Instagram page. The confectioner uses regular kefir.

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • kefir – 250 g
  • sugar – 150 g
  • flour – 400 g +- 30 g
  • baking powder – 2 tsp.
  • oil – 100 ml
  • vanilla – 1 p. 16 g
  • jam (berries, fruits) – 200 g

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until dissolved.

2. Gradually add oil, continue whisking.

3. Pour in the kefir, continue beating.

4. Add flour and baking powder and knead a thin dough.

5. Conditionally divide into 2 parts – larger and smaller.

6. Put 2/3 of the dough into a greased mold.

7. Add the filling in small amounts, slightly stepping back from the edges.

8. Spoon over the top of the dough to completely cover the jam.

9. Bake the cake at 180 degrees 40 minutes.

10. Check the readiness with a wooden stick – it should be dry.

11. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar on top.
