What to stuff mackerel with: the fish just melts in your mouth

Juicy and tender mackerel is delicious when stuffed. For this, you will need ordinary vegetables and a lot of spices. A slice of cheese will complete the flavor.

The idea of cooking delicious stuffed mackerel was published on the Instagram page of chef Olha Riabenko. The fish is baked very quickly.

Ingredients:

  • mackerel – 3 pcs
  • onion – 1 pc
  • carrot – 1 pc
  • tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
  • spices for fish – 1 tsp
  • dried tomatoes – 1 tsp
  • coriander – 0.5 tsp.
  • salt, pepper, sugar – to taste
  • parsley – 5 sprigs
  • hard cheese – 50 g
  • olive oil
  • butter – 30 g

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the mackerel from the head, backbone, and bones. Leave the tail on.

3. Add salt and pepper.

4. Fry the chopped onion and grated carrot. Add fish spice, coriander, dried tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar (optional) and tomato sauce.

5. Fry until the onions are transparent.

6. Put parsley and vegetables on the fillet. Roll up and pin with a skewer.

7. Put the fish in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and add butter.

8. Bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes until the fish is golden brown. Be guided by your oven.
