What to stew zucchini with: a budget dish option
At the end of summer, every housewife has zucchini in the fridge. Therefore, in order to prevent the product from spoiling, it is worth experimenting and diversifying the menu. A variant of a hearty and fairly simple appetizer is stewed zucchini in cream. The taste is very delicate, and most importantly, it takes as little time as possible to prepare the dish.
The idea of cooking stewed zucchini with cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olga (cooking_by_olga).
Ingredients:
- zucchini - 2 pcs.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- cream - 250 ml
- flour - 2-3 tbsp.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- parsley and dill as desired
- salt, pepper to taste
- vegetable oil
Method of preparation:
1. Dice the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry in vegetable oil for a few minutes.
2. Cut the zucchini into medium cubes, salt and sprinkle with flour.
3. The flour should completely cover the surface of the zucchini.
4. Fry the zucchini well in a frying pan with the vegetables until golden brown.
5. Add cream to them and squeeze in the garlic.
6. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Bring the mass to a boil and cook for 7-10 minutes until the cream thickens.
8. Finally, add the finely chopped dill and parsley to the zucchini. The delicious creamy zucchini is ready.
