What to stew liver with to make it soft: the simplest technology

The liver is a product that cannot be simply fried or boiled, because the texture of the meat is quite tough and dense. Therefore, stewing remains the best cooking option. And to make the dish tasty, soft, juicy, and without bitterness, you should add sour cream.
The idea of cooking stewed liver with sour cream was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Adriana (adri_kaaaa).
Ingredients:
- liver - 800 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- garlic - 1-2 cloves
- sour cream - 200 g
- oil - 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the liver, remove fat and films, cut it in half.
2. Wash and peel the onions and carrots.
3. Cut the carrots into strips, onion into half rings, chop the garlic.
4. Fry the onion, garlic and carrots in vegetable oil for 10 minutes.
5. Fry the liver until half cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
6. Add the onion, garlic, and carrots to the liver, pour over the sour cream, and season with salt and pepper.
7. Simmer under the lid for another 15 minutes.
