What to sprinkle on baked potatoes to make them crispy: the secret ingredient
When cooking baked potatoes, all housewives dream of making them crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and holding their shape well. There are a variety of life hacks for this, but there is something much simpler – you can evenly roll the potatoes in flour before cooking. The result will pleasantly surprise you.
Popular chef Vasyl Michelin shared a recipe for baked whole potatoes in flour on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- potatoes - 5 pcs.
- flour - 100 g
- salt - 1 tsp.
- paprika - 2 tsp.
Sauce:
- young garlic - 3 feathers
- dill - 1 bunch
- salt - 2 tsp
- dried chili - 2 tsp.
- olive oil - 100 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the potatoes.
2. Mix flour, salt and paprika. Dredge the potatoes well in the mixture.
3. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 220 degrees.
4. For the sauce, chop the garlic and dill.
5. Mix the herbs with the spices and oil.
6. Put the hot potatoes on a plate, and make horizontal deep cuts in each potato. Put the sauce inside.
