What to marinate pork ribs in to make them juicy: chef's tips
Pork ribs are most often chosen for barbecue because they become very flavorful during cooking and form a golden crust. Also, this meat is very convenient to eat even without utensils, because it stays on the bone. But to make the dish soft, spicy, and juicy at the same time, you need to combine the right ingredients for the marinade.
Famous Ukrainian chef Valerii Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy) shared his idea for juicy pork ribs on his Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- pork ribs – 3 kg
- garlic – 1 head
- ginger root – 40 g
- rosemary – 3 sprigs
- ground black pepper
- chili flakes – 0.5 tsp
- olive oil – 4 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the ribs into pieces of the desired size.
2. Add the finely chopped garlic.
3. Add the chopped ginger.
4. Add pepper, rosemary and chili.
5. Add olive oil.
6. Mix well with your hands.
7. Leave to marinate for 3 hours.
8. Put on the skewers.
9. Season well with salt.
10. Cook on the coals for 20-25 minutes.
