How can you unusually cook fish and turn a familiar product into a real delicacy? It's simple - you can do it with a simple sauce or marinade. Interestingly, they are made from available ingredients and in a matter of minutes, but they can reveal the taste of fish beyond recognition.

The FoodOboz editorial team has prepared recipes for delicious sauces that will suit any fish.

The recipe for marinade sauce for any fish was shared by nutritionist and food blogger Anna (tomka_an) on her Instagram page.

Baked fish in marinade

Ingredients:

  • garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • lemon zest – 1 tsp
  • oil – 3 tbsp
  • parsley

Method of preparation:

1. All the necessary ingredients can be whipped in a blender or chopped on your own.

2. Put the fish in a mold, rub it with the resulting sauce, and leave for 20-30 minutes.

3. Add vegetables or mushrooms if desired.

4. Bake at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.

Food blogger Oksana Myroniuk (oksankamuronyk) also shared another unusual recipe for pumpkin sauce on her Instagram page. It can be served not only with fish but also with meat and as a garnish for cereals.

Pumpkin sauce

Ingredients:

  • onion –1 pc
  • carrots – 2 pcs
  • sour cream – 100 g
  • ketchup – 4 tbsp
  • pumpkin puree – 250 g
  • spices

Method of preparation:

1. For pumpkin puree, cut the pumpkin into cubes and bake until soft. Then beat with a blender until smooth.

2. Chop the onion and fry until soft. Add spices and mix.

3. Grate the carrots and add to the onions. Simmer for a few minutes over low heat.

Sauce preparation

4. Add sour cream and ketchup. Cook for about a minute.

5. Whisk the resulting mass together with pumpkin puree.
