What to make lazy dumplings with to make them juicy: a dish for a quick meal
In today's environment of constant power cuts, there is very little time for cooking. Therefore, dishes should be as simple as possible and, at the same time, hearty. A great option will be lazy dumplings from potatoes. All the ingredients, most likely, everyone can find in his kitchen.
The idea of cooking lazy dumplings with potatoes was shared by famous Ukrainian chef Liza Glinska (lizaglinskaya) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 700 g potatoes
- 50 g eggs
- 150 g flour
- salt and black pepper
Ingredients for the dressing:
- 2 onions
- butter
- sunflower oil
- salt and black pepper
- sour cream
Cooking method:
1. Peel and slice potatoes. Boil them in reinforced water. Drain the water, make mashed potatoes, leave to cool.
2. Fry the chopped onion in two kinds of oil.
3. Grate the mashed potatoes on a fine grater, add salt, pepper, egg. Knead the dough, gradually adding flour.
4. Cut, baste in boiling salted water.
5. Serve with sour cream and fried onions.
