What to make healthy cookies for children: without sugar and eggs
If you want to make healthy cookies for your children, you should use natural ingredients as the basis for such baking – even vegetables will do. For example, young corn and carrots. They will give off their natural sweetness, so you won't need to use sugar.
A recipe for healthy corn and carrot cookies for children was published on one of the culinary blogs about children's menus and nutrition (moireceptuforeva) on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Young corn – 1 cob
- carrots – 1\2 pcs
- sour cream – 2 tbsp
- butter – 30 g
- baking powder – 1\2 tsp
- whole wheat flour – 6 tbsp
- wheat flour – 10 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
2. Prepare the vegetables: cut the kernels from the corn, and cut the carrots into pieces. Blend everything in a blender.
3. Add sour cream, butter, and baking powder to the resulting mass. Mix well.
4. Add whole wheat flour. Mix well.
5. Add the wheat flour. Mix well. The dough will be thick and will not drip off the spoon. If it is too runny, add a little more flour.
6. Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease it with a little oil. Spread the dough with a teaspoon, forming circles.
7. Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes.
