What to do with cheese to keep it fresh longer: an interesting life hack from the star
Cheese is a favorite product of millions of people around the world. Really high-quality cheese cannot be cheap, so it becomes very sad when you want to enjoy its taste, but it turns out that the cheese has gone bad.
To avoid this, you need to know life hacks that can significantly extend the shelf life of cheese. Bryony May-Williams, the great British star and host of Bake Off, shared them with the Mirror.
According to the star, to extend the shelf life of cheese, it is enough to simply soak a piece of kitchen paper towel in white vinegar and put it next to the cheese. Thanks to the acidic properties of vinegar, you can get rid of about 82% of the types of mold that often appear on cheese. And there is no need to worry that a piece of cheese will absorb the smell and taste of vinegar. According to the expert, this will not happen. But its shelf life can be extended up to 6 weeks.
But to prevent cheese from sweating, you should put refined sugar in its packaging. This way, the cheese will never have excessive moisture, which, by the way, often provokes mold formation.
