What to cook with minced meat, except for cutlets – a lazy and delicious dish from Tetiana Lytvynova
Lazy cabbage rolls with Chinese cabbage according to Tatiana Litvinova's recipe
If you want to cook a hearty and tasty meat dish for lunch or dinner, but you're tired of cutlets, there are many unusual alternatives, including stuffed cabbage rolls, meatballs, and pancakes with filling. In addition, almost all meat dishes take no more than half an hour to prepare.
Chef Tetiana Lytvynova shared a delicious, very satisfying, and most importantly easy-to-prepare dish on her YouTube channel – lazy cabbage rolls with Chinese cabbage (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- Minced meat (pork, beef) - 600 g
- Carrots - 150 g
- Onions - 150 g
- Thyme - 1 sprig
- Garlic - 4 cloves.
- Ghee - 1 tbsp.
- Pelati tomatoes - 700 ml
- Basmati rice - 140 g
- Chinese cabbage - 1 pc.
- Black pepper, salt - to taste
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- Sour cream 15% - 200 g
Method of preparation:
- Grate the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into small cubes, and slice the garlic.
- Put a frying pan on the fire, melt the ghee, add the chopped garlic and a sprig of thyme, leave it for 1 minute, add the grated carrots and onions, mix, and leave it to fry for a few minutes.
- Put the pelati tomatoes in a blender bowl and blend until smooth.
- Chop the Chinese cabbage very finely, put it in a bowl, and mash it well with your hands.
- Add the tomato mixture to the pan with the onions and carrots and stir, then add the minced meat, stir, add the washed rice, season with salt and pepper, and stir again.
- Cover the baking dish with cabbage leaves, put the filling in layers – minced meat, sour cream, cabbage, minced meat, sprinkle with nutmeg, and cabbage again, and put the dish in the oven for 40 minutes at 190 C.
- Cut the finished dish directly into the mold and serve with sour cream.
It is worth noting that the dish will be delicious even when cold.
