Method of preparation:
- Boil the potatoes, mash them, and leave them to cool.
- Put the chopped onion in a preheated frying pan and fry until golden brown.
- Add the chopped mushrooms and simmer until the mushrooms are half-cooked.
- Put the frozen spinach in the pan and stir.
- Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and grated cheese to the finished mass.
- Chopped herbs and garlic are optional.
- Add the egg, flour, and the rest of the ingredients to the potatoes, and mix thoroughly.
- Add flour until the dough can be easily pulled away from your hands.

- Prepare the filling: stew mushrooms with onions. Add salt and pepper. Grate the cheese into the cold mass on a fine grater. Stir the mixture.
- Form the stuffed potato cakes: spoon the mass into a hand moistened with water, use the same spoon to make a depression in the dough, put the filling, and pinch.
- Roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a preheated frying pan over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
