What to cook for a snack when you're tired of sandwiches: an unusual solution
Cupcakes are not always a high-calorie and high-fat food. If prepared properly, they can be a very healthy and tasty lunchtime snack. You just need to choose the right ingredients. It is very convenient to take this food with you to work or give it to children at school.
The idea of healthy vegetable muffins was shared by nutritionist Vita Ivankiv on her Facebook page.
How to make healthy muffins for a snack
- Beat 3-4 eggs with a whisk.
- Add any small-grain cabbage (white cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts).
- Cut up the cooked chicken meat. You can also choose tuna or salmon.
- Add your favorite vegetables: tomato, pepper, zucchini, or choose a frozen mixture.
- Season with spices to taste.
- Mix everything well.
- Put the mixture into silicone molds.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
You can also make healthy holiday sweet muffins. For the filling, use seasonal autumn fruits – apples. The idea was shared by oksi.foxi on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Stevia/erythritol - 60 g or sugar - 100 g
- Butter - 80 g
- Sour cream - 1 tbsp
- Soda on the tip of a knife or baking powder - 0.5 tsp
- Whole grain rice or wheat flour - 200 g
- Apples - 4 pcs.
Method of preparation:
- Mix eggs, natural sweetener or sugar, sour cream, flour, and soft butter.
- Make the dough.
- Peel the apples and cut them into small squares.
- Put the ingredients in silicone molds in the following order: dough, apples, and dough again.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
