What to add to the minced meat for cutlets to make them juicy: only one vegetable is needed
Homemade cutlets often fall apart and are very hard and often raw inside. To make the cutlets juicy and baked well inside, cooks advise adding fried onions and carrots to the minced meat.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very juicy and delicious chicken cutlets with carrot frying and mushroom filling.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of minced chicken/turkey
- 1 egg
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- dill/parsley
- 1 tsp. dry garlic
- salt, pepper
- 2 tbsp of breadcrumbs
Filling, but you can do without
- 250 g. champignons
- 100 ml of cream
- 1 tbsp. of flour
- dill/parsley
- salt, pepper
- 100 g. of cheese
Method of preparation:
1. First, fry the onions and carrots, season with salt and pepper, the roast is ready.
2. Add the egg, roast, greens, garlic, pepper, salt, breadcrumbs to the minced meat and mix well until smooth.
3. With wet hands, form balls and place on a baking sheet covered with parchment, make indentations for the filling.
4. For the filling: fry the mushrooms, add cream, herbs, salt, pepper and flour. Stir and thicken over low heat.
5. Put the filling on the cutlets and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cook in a preheated 180C oven for 30-35 minutes.
