What to add to the liver so that it does not become bitter: just 2 simple ingredients
The liver is an ideal product for making chops, salads, pates, and it can also be deliciously fried or stewed. It is very important to remove bitterness from the liver. To do this, you just need to soak it in milk and water. Apples and onions will add softness to the product.

Ingredients:
- liver - 1.5 kg
- onions - 4 pcs.
- sweet and sour apples - 2 pcs.
- sour cream - 300 g
- cream - 200 g
- bay leaf - 2-3 pcs.
- allspice - to taste
- peppercorns
- salt, ground pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Soak the liver in cold water or milk for 3-4 hours, you can change the water 1-2 times, so the bitterness will disappear. After that, clean it from films and veins, cut into portions and fry over high heat until golden brown, after rolling in flour.
2. Once the liver is cooked, put it in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add onion sliced in half rings, apples cut into small slices, and spices.
3. Pour boiling water to just cover the liver and put on the fire, bring to a boil and add sour cream and cream, simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
4. At the end, add salt and pepper, and add more herbs if desired.
