What to add to the dough for pies to make them golden and crispy
It's no secret that the most successful dough for pies is yeast one, which makes the product fluffy and soft. And to ensure that the pies have a crispy golden crust, milk, kefir and sometimes a little mayonnaise are added to the dough.
Food blogger Tetiana with the nickname mama_na_kykhne shared a recipe for a successful dough that makes crispy and golden pies on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- flour - 850 g
- pressed yeast - 15 g
- salt
- sugar - 2 tsp
- milk - 100 ml
- kefir - 200 ml
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- eggs - 2 pcs
- mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp
- baking powder - 10 g
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk.
2. Add sugar and salt. Mix well.
3. Add eggs, oil, kefir, milk and mayonnaise. Mix well.
4. Add flour and baking powder. Knead the dough and put it in a warm place for an hour. It is ready.
