Delicious homemade buns can be prepared without baking, simply by frying in a pan. The basis of these buns is a simple dough made with water and yeast, which makes them grow well and turn out to be very soft and fluffy.

Food blogger Inna Levenets, with nickname inna_levenets, shared a recipe for frying buns on her Instagram page.

Recipe for buns with water and yeast in a pan

Ingredients:

  • flour - 370 g
  • sugar\syrup - 2 tsp.
  • dry yeast - 2 tsp.
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • salt
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.
  • warm water - 200 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and yeast. The baking powder in the dough is needed to give the product a delicate and porous texture.

2. Add warm water and oil to the mass. Knead the dough, form a ball, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

3. Divide the finished dough into 8 pieces, form each into a ball. Cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.

4. Heat a frying pan with a little oil. Place the balls, pressing them lightly with the palm of your hand. Fry on each side for a few minutes.
