One of the most delicious and satisfying meat dishes is cutlets. They can be made from various types of meat, as well as vegetables and legumes. But very often cutlets turn out to be battered due to the large amount of flour and bread, and also too dry.

Cook Viktoriia (cook_with_me_at_home) shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious and juicy cutlets, which will turn out very well because of the fried onions that will make the minced meat soft.

Ingredients:

  • chicken – 1.3 kg
  • onion – 400 g
  • oil – 40 g
  • white bread – 180 g
  • milk – 250 ml
  • garlic – 4 cloves
  • salt, pepper, paprika – to taste
  • parsley – 1/2 bunch
  • oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until soft, transparent, and brown, add the squeezed garlic, mix, and let cool.

2. Pour milk over the bread.

3. Wash the chicken, dry it, twist it through a meat grinder, add spices, finely chopped parsley, mix well, and finally beat the minced meat.

4. Heat the oil in a frying pan, spoon the minced meat into your palm, form a cutlet with your hands, and beat it in your hands. Put it in the heated oil and fry over medium heat until it is browned on both sides.

5. Put the fried cutlets in a baking dish and cook in the oven for 15 minutes at 170°C.
