What tasty salad to prepare with herring: a budget and hearty option
Herring can be eaten with potatoes, but it will be much tastier to make a delicious salad with such ingredients. It turns out to be very satisfying, budget-friendly and suitable even for a festive table.
The idea of preparing a hearty salad with herring was published on the Instagram page of the famous Ukrainian chef Hector Jimenez-Bravo (hectorjimenezbravo). It is seasoned with ordinary vegetable oil.

- boiled potatoes
- pickled cucumber
- herring
- canned peas
- red onion
- parsley and dill
- oil
- salt, pepper

1. Boil potatoes with their skin.
2. Peel and cut them into cubes.
