What sauce to cook pork with to make it soft and juicy: we share the most successful recipe
Pork can be simply fried in slices and eaten with potatoes or porridge. But the meat is often quite dry. Therefore, you need to choose the right sauce for this product.
The idea of cooking soft pork in cherry sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana Sheremet (tania_sheremet_). Berries are best when frozen.
Ingredients:
- pork or veal tenderloin (pork neck is also suitable – it will be even more owlish) – 1 kg
- seasoning for meat – 0.5 tsp
- paprika – 0.5 tsp
- oil – 1 tbsp
- fresh frozen cherries – 200 g
- packaged cherry juice – 300 ml
- mild ketchup – 2 tbsp
- soy sauce – 5-6 tbsp
- garlic – 2 cloves
- sugar – 1-2 tsp
- salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the meat into pieces.
2. Put it in a bowl.
3. Add the meat seasoning, paprika, and a tablespoon of oil.
4. Mix well.
5. Then fry the meat in a preheated frying pan with a little oil for 2 minutes on each side.
6. Transfer the fried meat to a heavy-bottomed saucepan, pour in the cherry juice, add the cherries, ketchup, soy sauce, and chopped garlic.
7. Put on the fire and cook over medium heat until the liquid evaporates, about 30-40 minutes.
8. At the end of cooking, bring to taste, add sugar, and salt if necessary.
