What salads can be prepared without light and gas: three recipes
Salads are simple dishes that can be prepared when the power and gas are off. The key is to choose ingredients that don't need to be cooked or to cook them in advance. The total cooking time takes a maximum of 10 minutes.

Variant 1 - carrot and chickpea salad
Ingredients:
- carrots
- canned chickpeas
- raisins
- nuts
- cinnamon
- orange \ olive oil \ lemon juice (optional)
How to cook:
1. Grate the carrots, then mix with the drained chickpeas.
2. Add raisins, chopped nuts and a pinch of cinnamon.
3. Optionally, add orange slices and/or season with oil or lemon juice.
Variant 2 - bean salad
Ingredients:
- canned beans
- tomatoes
- greens
- onions (optional)
- oil
- salt, pepper
- canned tuna/salmon (optional)
How to cook:
1. Chop the tomatoes and chop the herbs, then mix the ingredients with the drained beans. Add onions if desired.
2. Season with vegetable oil, add salt and pepper, canned tuna or salmon if desired.
Option 3 - apple and white bean salad
Ingredients:
- white beans
- olive oil
- lemon juice (optional)
- apples
- walnuts
- salt, pepper
- celery (optional)
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the beans with olive oil and, if desired, lemon juice.
2. Add apple slices, walnuts, salt and pepper. Add celery if desired.
