Perhaps there is no simpler, tastier, and better dish than dumplings. To prevent them from being "clogged" and hard, you need to make good dough. There are many recipes out there, but it's best to use only proven ones.

Ingredients:
- eggs – 1 pc.
- vegetable oil – 1.5 tbsp
- flour – 500 g
- salt – 10 g
- hot water – 200 ml
Method of preparation:
1. Mix the egg and oil with a fork.
2. Sift the flour into a bowl where you will knead the dough.
3. Pour the egg into the flour and mix until crumbs.
4. Dissolve the salt in water.
5. Pour hot water into the flour and knead the dough first with a fork, then with your hands.
Dough with milk
Ingredients:
- flour – 500 g
- milk – 100 ml
- boiling water – 100 ml
- salt – 10 g
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour.
2. Pour boiling water into the milk, and add salt. Stir.
3. Add the egg to the liquid. Stir well.
4. Pour the resulting mass into the flour. Knead the dough first with a fork, then with your hands.
Kefir dough
Ingredients:
- kefir – 300 ml
- flour – 500 g
- salt – 10 g
- vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the kefir and dissolve the salt in it.
2. Sift the flour into a bowl.
3. Pour in the kefir and knead the dough first with a fork, then with your hands.
Some tips from the experts:
- For traditional dumplings, use regular, all-purpose wheat flour of the highest grade.
- Salt is an important ingredient in dumplings, namely in the process of gluten formation.
- When kneading the dough, you need to have a few tablespoons of flour for "correction".
