What kind of dough makes airy and fluffy pies: a lazy recipe
Perfectly cooked pies are fluffy, airy, and very soft. This result can be achieved thanks to good dough. For example, kefir dough, which does not require even a gram of yeast.
The recipe for lazy kefir pies was shared by food blogger Olena (elenin_blog) on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kefir – 1 cup
- egg – 1 pc.
- salt – 0.5 tsp.
- sugar – 0.5 tbsp
- baking soda – 0.5 tbsp
- flour – 2.5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Beat the egg with a whisk with salt and sugar.
2. Pour kefir at room temperature. Add baking soda and mix.
3. Pour in the flour and knead the dough into a soft dough.
4. Put the dough on a floured surface and form pies. Any kind of filling will do: meat, potatoes, cabbage, and even jam.
5. Fry the pies in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
