If you don't want to make jam from healthy berries and fruits, there is a very simple solution – freeze them. But not everyone knows how to do it right - how to prepare the berries, grind them properly, and most importantly, what to store them in and how to store them.

The FoodOboz editorial team has prepared 3 simple rules for freezing berries so that they retain all the beneficial vitamins.

To begin with, we note that frozen berries retain all the trace elements: potassium, iron, sodium, magnesium, as well as fiber, vitamins A, C, and E, but completely destroy B vitamins.

How to properly freeze berries to keep them "alive":

Frozen berries

1. For freezing, take only berries from the bush, do not take overripe ones, they are suitable only for jam.

2. Wash the berries with cold water, then put them on paper towels and dry them.

Three ways to freeze:

1. Primary.

Put the dry berries on a tray so that they do not touch each other and place them carefully in an empty freezer for 3-4 hours, or preferably overnight. Afterward, collect them in plastic containers, close them, and put them back in the freezer.
