This result can be avoided if you cook the liver with a secret ingredient – red wine. The alcoholic drink adds a special piquancy to the liver, making it more tender and juicy.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver
  • red wine
  • rosemary
  • garlic
  • chili pepper
  • cloves
  • salt

Method of preparation:

1. Peel and chop the liver.

2. Fry in vegetable oil on both sides for 1 minute. Put on a paper towel to remove excess fat.

3. Pour a glass of red wine into a saucepan and add all the spices and garlic. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes to evaporate the alcohol.

4. Put the liver in a saucepan and cook for 5-8 minutes under the lid.

This liver is best served with onion jam, capers, or garnishes.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the onion in half rings. Send to the pan.

2. When the onion is soft, add the sugar. Stir constantly.

3. At this stage, add all other spices, wine, juice, and vinegar.

4. When all the moisture has completely evaporated, it means that the jam is ready. Put it in jars.
