What ingredient to add to cutlets to make them juicy: a simple tip
Ideal cutlets are golden brown and juicy. This dish should be both hearty and light to go well with any side dish. You can add one simple ingredient to the minced meat, which will bind the mass well and add good flavor.
The idea of cooking cutlets with the addition of potatoes was published on the _tyt_recepty Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 1-1.5 kg (pork + beef)
- potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
- onions - 3-4 pcs.
- white bread - 1 slice
- eggs - 1 pc.
- milk
- salt, pepper, mustard
- vegetable oil
Method of preparation:
1. Grind the potatoes and onions in a blender (you can also pass through a meat grinder).
2. Break the bread into pieces and soak in milk so that they are completely covered. Leave to swell.
3. Add the bread to the minced meat without squeezing the milk.
4. Add the egg, chopped potatoes and onions, salt and pepper to taste, and 1 teaspoon of mustard.
5. Knead the minced meat well, adding 1 tablespoon of oil. Leave to rest for a while.
6. Heat a small amount of oil.
7. Form the patties with wet hands.
8. Fry on one side, turn over and cover.
