Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should never be skipped. Accordingly, the foods you eat in the morning affect your productivity and mood for the whole day. Some of them people unconsciously consume, and in a few hours they feel noticeable fatigue and hunger.

In an exclusive commentary for OBOZREVATEL, nutritionist Maria Teliavska told us what foods are forbidden to eat in the morning and how they affect our body.

Thus, the expert includes the following foods in the list of prohibited foods:

Instant oatmeal

The benefits of such porridge are zero. And you will feel noticeable hunger after eating it very soon.

Yogurt

Especially if the dairy product is full of fillers. Otherwise, diabetes and obesity are just around the corner.

Coffee

For coffee drinkers, this is, of course, so-so news. But it's best to drink a cup of your favorite drink 20 minutes after a full breakfast. This way, all the nutrients are absorbed much better after eating.

White bread and bakery products

In this case, it is better to give preference to whole grains.

Sweets in any form

Sweets are one of those foods that are not healthy at all, and especially not for breakfast. Similarly, you should stop attributing pseudo-benefits to desserts labeled "healthy" or "healthy" sweets.

A balanced breakfast, according to the nutritionist, combines the following ingredients: proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and 10 grams of greens.

A good breakfast will make you want to eat no earlier than 4-5 hours later. This is the ideal interval between meals, when you don't think about it at all and don't have snacks.

And finally, a few tips from the expert:

  • The best breakfast is in the first hour after waking up.
  • Warm water after waking up is an obligatory ritual. It can properly start the digestive process at the beginning of the day.
