Dumplings are really tasty only if they are puffy. This dish is also extremely juicy and flavorful. And all this primarily depends on what to use to make the dough. Many housewives use yeast or baking soda, but there is a much simpler and more effective option.

Blogger Diana (di_droniak) shared the idea of making choux dumplings on her Instagram page.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 800 g
  • oil - 5-6 tbsp
  • boiling water - 450 ml
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.

Method of preparation:

1. Add salt to the sifted flour, boiling water and oil and mix.

2. Mix first with a spoon and then with your hands.

3. The dough should be elastic.

4. Wrap in plastic film and leave to rest for 30 minutes.

Prepare the filling:

1. Add a little butter, milk/cream to the boiled potatoes and mash them.

2. Add salt, pepper, and dill.

3. Add processed cheese.

4. Mix everything well.
