Do not use these containers to store food in the refrigerator
Aluminum and cast iron cookware
Such cookware can oxidize or rust. Therefore, they are not suitable for long-term storage in the refrigerator.
Polyethylene bags
People usually put butter, sausage, and cheese in plastic bags. But this is absolutely not allowed. Condensation forms inside, and the products begin to deteriorate. It is better to use parchment paper for this purpose.
Plastic containers
In order to store food in plastic containers, the utensils must have a special marking on them that indicates that the container is suitable for the refrigerator. This is, for example, a fork and spoon.
Wooden cookware
Wooden cookware is not suitable for storage in the refrigerator. Excessive moisture can cause the containers to swell and lose their shape. It is especially dangerous if there is paint on it that can get into the food.
