Its sweet, juicy, and tender fruits have a distinctive characteristic granular flesh. This fruit is a natural source of dietary fiber. A lot of B vitamins are in the peel of the fruit. This fruit also helps to remove salts from the body. But its excessive consumption can lead to overweight. If you have digestive diseases, it is better to avoid pears.

How pears ripen and how to store them

Pears ripen at room temperature. To speed up this process, you can put the fruit in a paper bag with bananas. A ripe pear can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. If you overexpose it, the overripe fruit will change its consistency and will be tasteless due to acetic and lactic acids, which are not present in the ripe fruit.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • flour - 550-600 g
  • butter - 150 g
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 150 g
  • vanilla
  • sour cream - 5 tbsp. l. with a slide
  • soda - 1 tsp, slaked with vinegar

Ingredients for the filling:

Cooking a pear pie
  • cottage cheese - 800 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 150 g
  • vanillin
  • pear - 2 pcs.

Method of preparation:

1. Grind the butter into crumbs with flour.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with sugar and vanilla, add sour cream and baking soda, and beat again.

3. Add the egg-sour cream mixture to the flour and knead the dough.

4. Roll out into a thin layer 1-1.5 cm thick and put into the mold, making sure to form the sides of the dough.

5. Cover the mold with parchment paper.

Preparation of the filling:

1. Add eggs, sugar, and vanilla to the cottage cheese and beat with a mixer or blender.

2. Put the cottage cheese filling on the dough. Cut the pears into thin slices and dip into the filling.

3. Bake for 60 minutes at 180 degrees.
