Zucchini can be used not only for making appetizers and casseroles, but also for desserts. The vegetable should be added to make baked goods lush and juicy. It combines perfectly with chocolate.

The idea of cooking a sweet chocolate brownie with zucchini is published on the page of the famous Ukrainian cook Vitalina Mkrtchian (vitalina mkrtchian) in Instagram. No one will be able to recognize the unusual ingredient in the dish.

Ingredients:

  • zucchini - 300 g
  • yogurt/sour cream - 60 g
  • vegetable oil - 60 g
  • sugar - 130 g
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • flour - 100 g
  • cocoa (20-22%) - 85 g
  • leavening agent - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • chocolate (70%) - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Using a grater, finely grate the zucchini.

2. Drain excess liquid and press the zucchini with paper towels several times to get some of the moisture out. But never squeeze with your hands.

3. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, vegetable oil, and brown sugar.

4. Beat with a whisk until smooth.

5. Add vanilla and eggs, continuing to whisk.

6. Add zucchini, stir and set aside.

7. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

8. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined and no lumps of flour remain.

9. Add some of the chocolate chips to the batter, reserving the other third for the top of the bread.

10. Pour the dough into a bread mold lined with parchment and greased with oil.

11. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate shavings on top.

12. Bake for 45 minutes at 175 degrees.
