Ingredients

  • Vodka - 1 liter
  • Watermelon pulp - 1.5 kg
  • Sugar - 800 grams
  • Water - 400 ml
  • Lemon zest - 1 pc
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.

Method of preparation

1. Cut the watermelon into small pieces, put in a clean jar.

2. Add lemon zest and vanilla.

3. Close the lid and leave to stand in a dark place for 7-10 days. Shake the jar daily.

4. Blend watermelon and vodka in a blender and strain through several layers of cheesecloth.

5. Make a syrup from sugar and water and cool completely. Mix the watermelon vodka with the syrup, pour into bottles.

6. Serve chilled.
