Very fluffy homemade pies: the recipe for the most successful dough
When making homemade pies, the most important thing is to make a good dough, which determines the taste and shelf life of the bakery product. The filling can be anything: salty or sweet.
One of the cooking blogs (kristi_cooking_) published a recipe for homemade pies on Instagram. They are based on a versatile yeast dough, which can be fried or baked in the oven.
Ingredients:
Dough:
- water - 300 ml
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
- salt - 1 tsp.
- refined vegetable oil - 50 ml
- fresh yeast - 20 g
- flour - 500 g
Method of preparation:
1. Pour 1/2 water into a bowl and dissolve the yeast. At the same time add 3 tbsp of flour from the total amount and 1\2 sugar. Stir, cover with a towel and leave for 15 minutes.
2. After 15 minutes, add water, the rest of the sugar, oil and salt to the finished dough. Stir to combine.
3. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Knead in a bowl for about 10 minutes. It will stick a little to your hands. Put the finished dough into a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place to increase in volume.
4. When the dough has risen, put it on a lightly oiled surface and divide it into 12 pieces and form balls. Cover them with a towel and leave for 10 minutes.
5. Form patties with your favorite filling. Cover the finished patties with a towel and leave for 20 minutes.
6. Then fry the pies in enough oil. Put the fried patties on a paper towel to drain the excess fat.
