Very crispy: canned cucumbers with chili ketchup for the winter
You can preserve homegrown cucumbers for the winter with garlic, spices, berry leaves, ketchup, and mustard. It is important to remember that to make cucumbers crisp, they need to be placed in cold water for 2 hours.

Ingredients:
- cucumbers
For the marinade 5 liters of jars:
- 7 glasses of water 200 g each
- 1 cup of vinegar
- 2 tbsp of salt
- 1 cup of sugar
- 8 tbsp. chili ketchup
- dill umbrella, horseradish leaves, garlic, peppercorns
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the cucumbers well, cut off the ends, and leave them in water for 2 hours.
2. For the marinade: mix everything and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes.
3. Put the dill, horseradish, garlic, pepper, and cucumbers in clean jars and pour the hot marinade over them.
4. Sterilize, cover, and cook for exactly 10 minutes from the moment of boiling.
5. Screw the jars, turn the top upside down and cover with a warm towel. Leave to cool completely!
