Vegetable side dish with sour cream sauce: perfect for meat
A good side dish will help to diversify meat and fish dishes. One of the options is a vegetable one, which can be cooked in a frying pan. Its main feature is that vegetables should be fried separately and served with a sauce. Sour cream-based sauce is the best choice.
Food blogger Iryna (irina_burdyug) shared a recipe for a delicious vegetable side dish with sauce, which is perfect for meat dishes, on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- carrots - 1 pc
- onion - 1 pc
- zucchini - 1 pc
- cucumber - 1 pc
- beetroot - 1 pc
- tomato - 1 pc
- potatoes - 100 g
- sour cream - 100 g
- dill - 50 g
- garlic - 1 clove
- spices
Method of preparation:
1. Grate carrots, potatoes, zucchini, beets, cucumber on a Korean grater.
2. Dice onion.
3. Cut tomato into strips.
4. Fry each prepared ingredient separately.
5. For the sauce, mix chopped dill, garlic, and sour cream.
6. Serve the side dish as follows: put the vegetables on a plate and pour the sauce in the middle. You can eat it separately or mix it up.
