Shuba salad is hearty, tasty and very easy to prepare. It is best to bake the vegetables for the salad instead of boiling them, and use other, healthier sauces, such as sour cream or yogurt, instead of mayonnaise.

Ingredients:
- beets - 2 pcs.
- potatoes - 4 pcs.
- avocado - 2 pcs.
- cream cheese - 300 g
- salt - to taste
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- herring fillet - 300 g
- red onion - 1 pc.
- chicken egg - 4 pcs.
- green onions and red caviar
Method of preparation:
1. Bake the vegetables. Peel and grate on a coarse grater.
2. Finely dice the herring together with the onion.
3. Boil the eggs. Grate them coarsely too.
4 Make avocado sauce: put the avocado pulp in a bowl, add cream cheese, beat until smooth, transfer to a pastry bag to spread the sauce over the salad.
5. Assemble the salad: potatoes, avocado sauce, carrots, sauce, herring, onions, sauce, beets and sauce again. You can garnish the salad on top with greens or red caviar.
