What to cook with liver
Adding liver to a salad is the best solution for those who do not like this product because of its bitter taste. When properly fried, the liver is very soft and tender. And when combined with vegetables, it is very pleasant and sweet.
Famous chef Valeriy Ponomar (ponomar_valeriy) shared a recipe for a delicious Georgian-style liver salad. It was posted on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken liver - 250 g
- corn starch - 1 tbsp
- tomato - 1 pc
- red onion - 1/2 pcs.
- garlic - 1 clove
- olive oil - 1 tbsp
- pomegranate seeds - 1 tbsp.
- walnuts - 1 tbsp
- cilantro - 1 bunch
- hot pepper
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the liver. Roll it in starch and fry with salt and pepper for about 6-8 minutes.
2. Cut the onion and tomato into half rings.
3. Chop the cilantro and red pepper.
4. Pass the garlic through a press.
5. Mix all the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Add the liver.
7. Season with olive oil and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds and walnuts.
